Francis Bacon: Books and Painting | The Centre Pompidou
11th September 2019 – 20th January 2020
The Centre Pompidou revisits Francis Bacon, more than 20 years after their last exhibition of the British artist, exploring how literature has influenced his paintings from 1971 to his later years.

Picasso. Blue and Rose | Musée d'Orsay
18th September 2019 – 6th January 2020
This exhibition focuses on Pablo Picasso’s Blue and Rose periods (1900-1906) including paintings, sculptures and engravings. Musée d’Orsay offers an overview of Picasso earlier years, which were vital to the whole of his career.  

A Burial in Shanghai | Musée D’Orsay
1st October 2019 – 12th January 2020
The Chinese painter Yan Pei-Ming pays his homage to Gustave Courbet and his “A Burial at Ornans” with this exhibition, designed for the Musée D’Orsay, to celebrate the 200th anniversary of Courbet’s birth.

Leonardo da Vinci | Musée du Louvre
24th October 2019 – 24th February 2020
For the 500th anniversary of his death, the museum most closely associated with the great artist pays tribute to his legacy by organising a retrospective of his life’s work. Advanced booking required.

We Will Rock You | Casino de Paris
7th September 2019 – 22nd September 2019
After playing in 28 countries over the last 12 years, the Queen musical is making its way to Paris. Get set for more than 20 classic songs from one of the world’s most legendary bands.

Julius Caesar | Comédie-Française
20th September 2019 – 4th November 2019
This is the first staging of William Shakespeare‘s classic at the Comédie-Française. This modern adaptation is helmed by director Rodolphe Dana, and features 40 complex Shakespearean characters brought to life by a cast of just ten actors.

Mechanics of Chance | Thèâtre de la Ville
7th November 2019 – 18th November 2019
Olivier Letellier presents an adaptation of Louis Sachar’s novel “Holes”. In a minimalist set, two actors will tease the audience into questioning their notion of inheritance and free will.

Scapin the Schemer | Comédie-Française
9th October 2019 – 2nd February 2020
Molière returns to the Comédie-Française, under the direction of Denis Podalydès. In one of his last plays, Molière gets rid of his typical theatre-ballet style, telling the story of the sharp and deceitful Scapin in a raw, understated fashion.

Requiem | L'église de la Madeleine
4th September 2019 – 8th September 2019
Featuring the famous Amadeus Choir and the Jean Louis Petit Orchestra, performing Mozart’s final masterpiece, which has been specially adapted to make the most of the church’s unique acoustics.

Sting | AccorHotels Arena
18th October 2019
“My Songs Tour: International” will stop by Paris for a one-day show from one of the most acclaimed British singers and songwriters of all time.

The World of Hans Zimmer | AccorHotels Arena
24th November 2019
Often lauded for his frequent partnerships with film director Christopher Nolan, the Zimmer has composed soundtracks for over 150 films throughout his career. This one-night only show will feature a range of his favourite works.

Hotel Balzac Reopens its Doors in Central Paris

The five-star Hotel Balzac reopened its doors to guests and diners for the first time since April. The short closure has allowed the hotel to adopt new industry standards brought about by COVID-19, and prepare a safe, luxury environment to welcome its customers back to Paris.
